Role & responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager to join our team at Ram-Nath & Company. This role is perfect for someone with a background in Chemistry, Science, or Marketing who is passionate about building relationships and driving business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting our high-quality chemical products.
Sales & Business Development:
1. Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the chemical industry by
prospecting and targeting potential clients.
2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at existing and
potential customer organizations.
3. Working with internal teams to develop tailored solutions based on customer requirements
and market needs.
4. Regularly visiting client places, factories, and industrial plants to build strong
relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
5. During industry visits, the candidate should observe the details of existing products, engage in
conversations with clients and industry professionals to learn about the products they are
using, their experiences, and identify any gaps where our products can be pitched as
solutions.
6. Addressing customer issues, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner,
maintaining positive relationships.
7. Negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms to ensure profitable and mutually beneficial deals.
8. Follow up with prospects and customers to ensure timely closure of sales opportunities.
9. Monitoring market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify new
opportunities and threats.
10. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date sales records and customer communications in the
company-recommended application.
11. Providing regular reports on sales progress, market conditions, and customer needs to
management.
12. Continuously developing product knowledge and sales skills to stay ahead of the
competition.
Preferred candidate profile
1) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration (BBA, MBA - Marketing), or a degree in Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering is preferred
2) Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the designated market.
3) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
4) Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and navigating the internet
5) Demonstrates excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships
6) Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and consistently meeting sales targets.
7) Strong ethical standards, with respect for the companys values and culture.
