Job Description

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of mobile devices through comprehensive inspections. This includes physical and cosmetic assessments, display evaluations, and functional checks. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to follow standardized testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed physical examinations of mobile devices to identify any defects, scratches, dents, or other cosmetic issues.

Ensure all devices meet the cosmetic standards as per pre-defined SOP before passing it.

Test and verify the functionality and quality of mobile displays.

Check for dead pixels, discoloration, touch responsiveness, brightness, and contrast.

Perform thorough functional tests on mobile devices including Cameras, speakers, microphones, buttons, sensors, and connectivity features (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc.) through in-house QC application.

Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality assessments.

Identify areas for improvement in the inspection process and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control, preferably within the mobile devices.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in using testing tools and equipment for mobile devices.

Strong understanding of mobile devices and functionality.

Soft Skills:

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
