Sap Basis Administrator @ Changeleaders

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform SAP system administration including installation, configuration, upgrade, patching, and maintenance of SAP applications and underlying database systems.

• Manage SAP system landscape and transport management system (TMS).

• Monitor system performance and conduct performance tuning for SAP systems and databases.

• Handle user and role administration across SAP systems (including CUA where applicable).

• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies in coordination with infrastructure teams.

• Apply SAP Notes, kernel upgrades, and SAP OSS support packs as needed.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system errors, dump analysis, job failures, and other technical issues.

• Coordinate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams for project support and system integration.

• Manage system copies, client administration, and support environment refreshes.

• Ensure system compliance with IT and audit policies.

• Maintain documentation of system configurations, policies, and procedures.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong experience in SAP Basis administration (ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, PI/PO, Solution Manager).

• Hands-on experience with HANA DB administration and troubleshooting.

• Experience in SAP system migration, upgrade projects (e.g., S/4HANA conversions).

• Good understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.

• Familiarity with SAP landscape monitoring tools and job scheduling tools (e.g., Redwood, Autosys).

• Working knowledge of databases like HANA, Oracle, MSSQL, and DB2.

• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform or any hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.

• Familiarity with SAP Security concepts and GRC is a plus.
