Process financial transactions: This includes recording accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Prepare financial reports: Youll assist in generating accurate and insightful financial reports, such as general ledgers, balance sheets, and income statements.
Reconcile accounts: Youll meticulously reconcile various accounts to ensure their accuracy and identify any discrepancies for further investigation.
Close the books monthly and annually: Youll play a vital role in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Maintain accounting records: Youll be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with established accounting principles (GAAP).
Collaborate with internal teams: Youll work closely with other departments within the Shared Services Center, as well as various business units, to ensure seamless financial operations.
What You Will Have
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) (Mandatory).
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an accounting role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Experience with accounting software (a plus).
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.
