Job Description

An Informatica Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration and management solutions using Informatica PowerCenter. The job responsibilities typically include:

• Analyzing and understanding the business requirements for data integration and management.
• Designing, developing, and testing Informatica mappings, workflows, and data integration processes.
• Debugging and troubleshooting issues related to data integration and management.
• Writing SQL scripts and stored procedures to extract, transform, and load data.
• Collaborating with stakeholders such as business analysts, data architects, and other developers to ensure data integration and management solutions meet business requirements.
• Maintaining the existing Informatica applications and infrastructure, including upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
• Documenting the design, development, and implementation of Informatica solutions.
• The ideal candidate should have experience with Informatica PowerCenter, relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2, and a good understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are also essential.
