Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Editing short and long-form video content, product promos, training videos, testimonials, interviews, and social media ads.
- Utilizing advanced editing software to combine text, images, footage, music, sound effects, and dialogue.
- Adhering to brand guidelines and differentiating between the styles for different brands.
- Incorporating fresh, innovative approaches to raise the production value of our videos.
- Working collaboratively with other video editors and the production team across multiple projects.
- Managing projects and assigning tasks to editors to ensure timely completion of all projects.
- Working with storyboards, shot lists, and production notes to ensure the quality and accuracy of all projects.
Preferred candidate profile
- Advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of apps, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and a general understanding of the workflow in different NLEs.
- Strong technical skills, knowledge of industry workflows, pre- and post-production, project management, video codecs, and different file formats in reference to video editing. Including proxy editing workflows and offline editing.
- Experience in mixing audio for video and editing audio files in both Premiere Pro and Audition for sweetening dialogue and voiceovers.
- Experience with motion graphics, utilizing After Effects and Premiere Pro, keyframing, and manipulating animations to suit individual projects.
- Knowledge of professional video cameras, audio recording devices, and lighting for video.
- Fast and efficient editing workflow, able to keep assets organized and structured for collaborative editing with a team of editors.
- Team leadership and project management skills.
- Effective time management and communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.
- Able to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
- Strong character, integrity, and positive energy.
