Desired Candidate Profile
Responsibilities:- Own product areas and lead the test effort of one or more features and have a high bar for quality of the product.
- Define, develop, document and maintain a repository of test plans, cases and scripts.
- Work with the engineering and product team during the spec walkthrough and feature design, implementation phases to develop test scenarios.
- Test methodology (designing the test approach) to test the feature end-to-end.
- Strong focus on automating feature level test-cases as part of the testing cycle.
- Contributing and enhancing existing Automation framework and if required build it from scratch.
- Execute multiple iterations of the test plan through regression automation scripts /manual tests and maintaining regression tests.
- Collaborate with other testing members, developers, technical writers, and customer solutions engineers to ensure the company delivers high quality products to our customers.
- Analyze failures and root cause issues, file defects, follow up with developers, documentation and other teams on the resolution.
- Monitor and manage continuous integration environment.
- Root causing the Field issues(Customer issues) and adding them to automation.
- Explore open source tools and incorporate them in existing test framework or test utilities.
Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization
PG: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization
Doctorate: Doctorate Not Required
