Role Expert Cloud Data Engineer

Location Pune/Chennai

Experience: 9 to 12 years and above.

You will lead strategic data engineering initiatives, ensuring that cloud data solutions align with business objectives. You will oversee large-scale projects, mentor teams, and drive innovation in cloud-based data engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement enterprise-level data solutions that are scalable and secure.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute large-scale data projects.
• Develop data governance strategies and lifecycle management best practices.
• Explore and integrate cutting-edge cloud and AI technologies to enhance data capabilities.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Conduct high-level data analysis and make strategic recommendations.
• Drive cost optimization and performance tuning across cloud-based data platforms.

What should you bring along

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, AWS Cloud Architecture, and DevOps.
• Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
• Ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies in data engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Experienced in being in the lead of a feature team.

Must have technical skill

• Advanced Python, PySpark, SQL, Java/Scala (preferred)
• AWS (advanced expertise in Glue, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis, EMR), Cloud Architect Certification
• Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming

Good to have technical skills

• Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
• GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Kubernetes
• Integration of ML models into cloud data pipelines
• Data Governance & Security: Role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, compliance frameworks
