Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of cloud-based applications using Microsoft Azure and .NET technologies.
- Design solutions that ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability of applications.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams and stakeholders.
- Architect and implement solutions using Azure services (such as Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, etc.) to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to define and refine project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security best practices, and company policies.
- Assist in defining technical roadmaps and evolving the architecture to keep up with emerging technologies.
- Design and implement DevOps pipelines for automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment (CI/CD) in Azure.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve performance and scalability issues within cloud applications.
- Drive and enforce best practices for cloud architecture, coding, and documentation.
- Continuously assess the technology landscape and advise on solutions that can improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a software architect with extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud applications.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Expertise in .NET frameworks, particularly .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework, and Azure SDK.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices design, and serverless computing.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (Git).
- Solid understanding of application security principles and how to implement them in a cloud environment.
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless solutions.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and software development life cycles.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver architectural solutions.
