Profile

The Corporate Procurement Services Analyst is responsible for processing requisitions entered into the Coupa Procurement System by employees who have Coupa licenses. This position manages the vendor/supplier relationships, performs smaller purchases and assists internal customers with entering requisitions into Coupa. This position is the back up to a Category Specialist role in Corporate Procurement Services category that they work. They are in this role to learn the category, procurement process, processes and corporate structure.



  • Processing Requests, tracing orders placed, establishing and maintaining hosted catalogs and managing vendor data in Coupa.

  • Processing Requests and Contracts in Coupa.

  • Small Sourcing Events.

  • Support the Strategic Sourcing and Category Specialist as their backup.

  • Participate in Vendor Meetings and work with AP to ensure Vendor payments.

  • Participate in the RFx Processes and other Sourcing events

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills when dealing with team members at all levels of the organization. Will also work with suppliers/vendors and will need to be able to negotiate without damaging relationships but rather work in a spirit of partnership by utilizing the skills of persuasion and influence.

  • Experience reading contracts and extracting metadata.

  • Must have Strong Communications Skills, both Oral and Written, and be able to do participate and/or lead meetings. Should also have excellent active listening skills.

  • Must be able to evaluate and compare supplier quotes, bids and information and make a recommendation based on the findings.

  • Written communication is important since they will need to be able to create professional documents for supplies and internal customers.

  • They will need to be detail oriented to ensure all pertinent contract and procurement data is accurate and complete, while working within the Coupa platform. This skill is also required when evaluating bids for pricing and specifications.

  • Must be on a team player and work well with the members of the Corporate Procurement Services Department and all other areas of the business in a collaborative and professional manner .

  • Should demonstrate the desire to continually be learning and evolving. Corporate Procurement Services because of the relationship with vendors and suppliers often privy to market changes and innovation.

  • Must be able to adaptable
