Openstack Engineer @ Idrive Software

Drive (leading provider of cloud storage and remote access services) is looking for an Openstack engineer with an overall experience of more than 5 years with minimum 1.5 in Openstack development. You will be a part of the IDrive Cloud team and will do product development using Openstack components which includes Neutron, Nova, Cinder, Swift, Keystone, etc.You are expected to have good experience with Linux platforms along with networking. We expect you to be agile and learn new skills constantly.

• Product development using Openstack framework modules i.e. Neutron, Nova, CInder, etc.

• Create and maintain new CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.

• Infrastructure automation via Ansible to make deployment quick and easy.

• Implement cluster monitoring via beats, kibana using ELK Stack.

• Implement data processing pipeline using logstash.

• Develop new tools or utilities via Linux tools like SED, AWK, etc, which will help in administration of the cluster.

• Strong experience in Linux platforms including networking (mandatory) (minimum 3 years)

• Very good experience with Openstack Compute Neutron (mandatory) (minimum 1.5 years)

• Good working knowledge of OpenStack tools like Glance, Swift, Cinder, Keystone, etc.

• Good working knowledge with iptables, IPv6 and LVM

• Good command over linux networking commands e.g. ip, ifconfig, brctl, etc.

• Working knowledge of automation tools like Ansible (minimum 1 year)

• Good knowledge of tools like Docker, Jenkins, etc (minimum 1 year)

• Good knowledge of editors like vi, sed, awk

• Good knowledge of python and shell scripting (minimum 1 year)

• Nice to have knowledge of Kubernetes

• DevOps experience with large enterprise is a big plus

• Ability to work independently

• Openstack Networking (Neutron)

• Openstack Cinder (Block Storage)

• Openstack Keystone (Authentication)

• B.Tech/B.E. in Any Specialization
