Job Description
- Test Planning: Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements and specifications. Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Testing Execution: Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing. Execute test cases and document results systematically. Identify, document, and track defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Automation : Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes. Implement and enhance automated testing frameworks.
- Collaboration : Work closely with development, product management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Participate in design and code reviews to provide quality perspectives.
- Continuous Improvement : Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and testing
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, testing methodologies, and test automation.
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks.
- Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
