Job Description
Cotiviti Hyderabad is looking for Senior Software engineers for one of its product steam Python based application suite , APIs, and backend systems
The purpose of this position is to work independently to build and integrate several robust, fault-tolerant backend services and frontend for information processing requirements to payment accuracy products. This includes collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and backend systems using Python.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write unit tests and documentation for developed code.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Responsible for handling the Security Vulnerabilities within Python Framework.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI, OpenAI, RAG ).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript (if relevant).
- Familiarity with back-end technologies like Java, J2EE and Spring framework (if relevant).
- Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, Vector DB or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of version control tools with awareness of the branching strategy like Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, OCI or Azure (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker (a plus).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like PyTest, UnitTest, or others.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI.
Good To Have:
- Knowledge of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or any other agile framework
- Exposure to business process workflow analysis such as JBPM, experience preferred.
- MogoDB, Microservices, Docker based development/deployments, Exposure to CI/CD
- Exposure to rule engines such as drools.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to rapidly changing priorities and workloads
- Ability to work well independently and maintain focus in a highly dynamic work environment.
Comfort in working with team members that are remote and located in the US, India or other geographies
