Job Description Vision Plus Developer

Role & responsibilities Principal responsibilities

• Design, Code, Test, Debug, and Record COBOL programs in CICS/VSAM/JCL environment
• Understand the Design and Requirements and develop and execute custom application features and functions
• Understand the BRD and break the requirements into MVPs and stories
• Create estimates for small to medium size projects
• Create high level design and as well as analyse and develop code as per specifications
• Follow standards and controls to ensure quality of outcome
• Support production deployment and post development implementation activities
• Perform application support as necessary; participate in the Crisis Calls for production incidents
• Identify and work on system performance improvement

Preferred candidate profile

• 5-10 years experience in development and maintenance of medium to complex banking applications such as credit card processing
• Strong knowledge of Vision PLUS product.
• Strong hands-on working knowledge in CMS module
• Strong knowledge of CICS
• Exposure to VMx / WNGSFM is appreciated
• Should have strong knowledge of online architecture and troubleshooting experience in online area
• Well versed with Mainframe technologies such as Endevor and Changeman
• Experience in design and development of medium complex problems
• Good knowledge and experience of DevOps & Agile discipline
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills

Job Profile: Banking domain, Card area (Credit, Debit, Prepaid)Excellent understanding of Cards and payment technologies.Good understanding of following aspects of Vision Plus CMS, FAS, CDM, TRAMs, Functional understanding of all Vision Plus block, VMX services and various reports.FAS Authorization Hands-on on VISA and Mastercard simulator, ATM testing.E2E exposure on testing related activities.Experience with mainstream defect tracking tools like QC/JIRA
