Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Delivery Manager / Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead and drive the successful execution of projects across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery, managing risks, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to drive business success.
Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead and manage teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide mentorship, resolve conflicts, and ensure the team's professional growth and development.
- Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Create detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Project Execution: Lead project teams, providing clear direction and guidance. Monitor and track project progress, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve challenges to keep projects on track.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, providing project status updates, progress reports, and addressing any concerns or queries.
- Training Execution: Monitor training programs closely, review work, and provide feedback regularly.
- Quality Control: Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards throughout project delivery. Should also have good functional QA skills.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, and relevant project records.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Technology & Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to optimize project execution.
Requirement:
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager/ Delivery Manager or similar role handling software development or technology-related projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Solid technical background, with the ability to comprehend complex technical concepts and effectively communicate with technical teams.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies is desirable.
- Familiarity with DevOps, Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML, and Big Data is a plus.
