Job Description
As an Infrastructure Architect, youll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role, so we want you to bring your vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. To the client, youre the subject matter expert consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, youre the tech leader for implementation.

Role & responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable Azure/AWS/OCI cloud solutions.
- Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for Azure/AWS/OCI-related issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for the cloud.
- Implement and manage automation processes using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and availability of cloud infrastructure.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with best practices and
security standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure, inventory and processes.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical issues.
- Develop the automation using CloudFormation / ARM template, PowerShell, Terraform, Azure automation and Ansible. Identify the opportunity and deploy in client environment
- Documentation (CEQ, ASD, SOP), Reverse KT and BAU team onboarding
- Provide EXIT CHECKLIST sign-off on completion of transition activities to BAU team.
- Project specific tasks on completion to have documentation (ASD, Architecture) and SOP
- Participation on SEV12 Incidents, Problems & Changes
- Train L3 on respective SME area
- Upskill product specific knowledge and be up to date on the respective subject matter on Azure . (For e.g. a SQL Server SME will update his skills to the latest SQL releases from Microsoft and also run use cases and test scenarios on Azure .
- Assist the BAU team with the RCA for Problem records.
- Approve vendor level escalations and assist the L3 or L2 Engineers with incident resolution and closure.

Required Technical and Professional Experience
- Total 10+ years of experience with minimum of 8 years of experience with Azure/AWS/OCI services.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Azure/AWS/OCI Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) or equivalent certification.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with experience in leading technical teams.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- MS Project or other Project Management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders of all levels
Certifications Required - Azure
- Azure solution architect certification (AZ 303 / 304)
Optional certifications:
- AZ-400: Designing, Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions
- Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins etc
- Microsoft Security Engineer (AZ 500)
Certifications Required - AWS :
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate / Professional
Optional certifications:
- AWS Developer Associate, AWS DevOps Professional, AWS Specialty
- Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins etc
