Job Description
Kindly apply only if you are willing to relocate Liberia (Africa)About the role : Said position is operationally responsible for building and in "keeping the lights on" of technology infrastructure which includes data center (Physical and Cloud), network, server (physical & virtual), firewall services and related software's. This position is responsible for supporting management in ensuring the availability.RESPONSIBILITIES :- AWS/Google Cloud Configuration, Management (inc. trouble-shooting, updates etc.);- Data and Network Security (inc. CCTV and Biometric Access Control etc.);- Training for local stakeholders- Management of all project related software (inc. GPS Fleet Management Trackers, Renewals and Updates etc.)- Management of other IT and electronics related to projects (inc. Projector, Display Systems, Mobiles etc.)- Liaising with IT/Telco/ISP/Electronics Service Providers- Liaising with Finance for procurement and inventory of all IT related assets- Technical Documentation and Reporting- IT Support (Internal and External Stakeholders)- Any ad hoc duties as may be required. - The technology focal point for IT infrastructure execution for the enterprise.- Planning, project management and implementation leadership, identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement.- Always strives to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the company's requirements and expectations.- Development of enterprise standards and technology architecture and the IT operations governance process.- Conduct product and vendor evaluations ensuring best in class technologies and partners.- Works closely with strategic vendor partners. Suggest & build strategic relationships for creating value for the organization.- Participate in the formulation of the company's enterprise architecture and business system plans; assessing cost and feasibility, and ensuring the plan is aligned with and supports the strategic goals of the business.- Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting.- Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, including storage area network and redundant, highly available server and network architectures.- Experience in delivery of 24/7 service operations and KPI compliance.Experience :- Around 8+ years of relevant IT Infrastructure experience, which includes a production 24/7 high-availability multi-site enterprise distributed & cloud environment, including application hosting, data networks, firewalls & security and preferably information protection.- Experience of managing windows-based IT infrastructure for a complex, geo-spread organization and cisco network, managing Fortinet firewalls, data security. Experience with regulatory compliance is preferred.- Exposure to high availability and disaster recovery architecture, communication and related technologies.- Good communication skills & exposure to ITIL concepts and adoption and best practices in . IT Infrastructure, network & security.- (CCNA, CCNP, AWS, AZURE, GOOGLE CLOUD AND ITIL certifications would be a plus)- Disaster Recovery, Backup, Data Management, Data Centre Management
