- Job Title: Economics Teacher PGT Location: Shillong - Meghalaya Job Summary We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Post Graduate Teacher in Economics to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of economic principles, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage and inspire students. The PGT Economics will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing curriculum materials, and fostering a positive learning environment. Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Economics lessons that align with the curriculum and educational standards. Employing a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students. Providing clear explanations, fostering critical thinking, and facilitating class discussions. Developing and updating the economics curriculum to ensure alignment with current educational standards and industry trends. Creating engaging lesson plans and educational materials that cater to different learning styles. Designing and administering assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with the latest teaching methods and educational trends. Collaborating with colleagues and participating in departmental meetings. Communicating effectively with parents to discuss student progress and address concerns. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or Masters degree in Education Master's degree in Economics (preferable). School or classroom teaching experience is compulsory. Strong knowledge of economic theories, principles, and applications. Well-organized and committed, with excellent communication skills.,
