Project Manager (Site) - Job Description
Project Manager
We are looking at Construction Project Manager to plan and over see a wide variety of construction projects who is highly organized, with an ability to plan ahead, multitask in order to meet the deadlines. 20-25 years of experience in managing large-scale water supply projects (Dams, Reservoirs, Pumphouses, Canals, etc) Proven track record of successfully executing complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee construction projects from planning, execution to its completion.
2. Manage budgets and estimate costs
3. Determine necessary equipment's, material and manpower
4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
5. Risk evaluation
6. Experience in pipelines, structures, micro irrigation, lift irrigation and pump houses
7. Monitor weekly progress for different engineering, procurement and construction phases
8. Database management- daily/weekly/monthly reports of the project progress
Approving and processing the necessary client billings
9. Raise and discuss relevant issues at the job site meetings. Prepare & issue minutes of all site meetings and site briefings
10. Proficiency in MS office
11. Open to travel to site locations
Qualification:
1. Bachelors of Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
2. Experience of 15-20 years years in the said field.
Requirements/Must have :
1. Should have worked in Irrigation Projects.
2. Should have experience in construction of Dams, Canals, Reservoir, Pump House, etc
3. Should have handled a team of engineers, surveyors and other staff.
4. Should have the knowledge of Running a Site.
5. B.E /B.Tech, full time course from recognized Institute, Civil or Mechanical
6. 15-20 years of Relevant experience
7. Hands on with MS Office
8. Excellent communicator who has worked in cross functional teams
9. Leadership opportunity working in close coordination with top management
10. Strong analytical skills and data driven thinking for analysis of engineering standards and their applicability. Coaching and mentoring skills.
