 Business Development Director

Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and execute the company's business development strategy aligned with organizational goals.

    Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including enterprise clients, startups, and strategic partnerships.

    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored software solutions.

    Lead the sales cycle from lead generation to closing, including proposal development, contract negotiation, and onboarding.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, engineering, marketing) to ensure alignment between client expectations and service delivery.

    Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to refine offerings and go-to-market strategies.

    Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance visibility and credibility.

    Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for executive leadership.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).

    5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in software or IT services.

    Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a B2B technology environment.

    Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, etc.) and digital transformation trends.

    Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

    Ability to lead teams and manage complex deals with multiple stakeholders.

    Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach.

    Preferred Skills:
    Experience with CRM tools

    Knowledge of SaaS, custom software solutions, and emerging tech (AI/ML, cloud computing, etc.).

    Familiarity with startup ecosystems or enterprise sales cycles.
