Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and experienced Sales Trainer to join our team at Sulekha. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and productivity of our sales team. Your expertise will help new hires feel valued, quickly understand their roles, and boost their performance. You will also work closely with existing sales personnel to identify challenges, conduct training interventions, and contribute to our recruitment and employee engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Hire Training: Deliver comprehensive training programs for new hires to help them feel valued, understand their roles, and improve their productivity and performance.
- Skills Gap Analysis: Conduct skills gap analyses through audits, call observations, and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Training Materials: Prepare and update learning materials, and evaluate the effectiveness of each training session to ensure continuous improvement.
- Coaching and Interventions: Conduct targeted coaching sessions and interventions based on Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to address specific performance issues.
- Product & Revival Training: Facilitate product training and refresher sessions for both new and existing sales personnel to keep them informed and motivated.
- Sales Challenges: Collaborate with salespeople to identify on-the-job challenges and recommend strategies to enhance their productivity.
- Recruitment Involvement: Actively engage in the recruitment process to help identify and onboard the best talent.
- Employee Engagement: Organize and conduct employee engagement activities to foster a positive and motivated work environment.
Trainer Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: Any Bachelor's degree . Preferred Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree in Management is an added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years experience of which 3-5 years of individual sales experience and at least 3 years in a sales training role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) and instructional software.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to create and manage multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules.
- Certifications: Certification from talent and training associations is a plus.
