The AIPS team consists of four mainpillars:

• Secure and Scalable AIPlatforms: Building and maintaining the foundational infrastructure for AIdevelopment and deployment.
• AI Applications:Developing and deploying AI-powered applications tailored to specific businessneeds.
• AI FoundationalComponents: Creating reusable components and services to accelerate AIdevelopment across the organization.
• AI Solutioning andIntegration Services: Providing consulting and technical expertise to guidebusiness units in adopting AI.

We work closely with business unitsand data science teams across the enterprise to identify opportunities for AI,design solutions, and integrate them into their workflows. Responsibilities:

• Lead the AIPS East teamto achieve operational excellence: Manage daily operations, optimizeresource allocation, and ensure timely project delivery across all fourpillars, directly contributing to the team's ability to meet and exceed itsgoals.
• Accelerate the adoptionof Generative AI in healthcare: Provide hands-on technical support toDiscovery and Enablement teams, enabling them to rapidly develop and deployinnovative AI solutions that streamline healthcare processes.
• Define and communicate acompelling AI product vision: Collaborate with stakeholders to create aclear and inspiring product vision, develop strategic roadmaps, and prioritizefeatures that align with business objectives and user needs, ensuring thedevelopment of impactful and valuable AI products.
• Cultivate ahigh-performing AI team: Mentor junior team members, fostering acollaborative and supportive environment that promotes continuous learning,skill development, and a commitment to excellence, building a strong andcapable AI team.
• Ensure seamlessintegration of AI solutions into the enterprise: Collaborate withtechnical leads and stakeholders to align on project goals, facilitate thesmooth integration of AI solutions with existing business-critical systems, andminimize disruption to existing workflows, maximizing the value of AIinvestments.
• Drive the successfuldeployment of AI-powered applications: Actively participate in projectplanning and execution, contributing technical expertise to ensure that AIapplications are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest qualitystandards, delivering tangible business benefits.
• Proactively mitigatetechnical risks and ensure project success: Identify and address technicalroadblocks, escalate critical issues promptly, and implement effectivesolutions to maintain project momentum and ensure that projects are completedsuccessfully and deliver the expected outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field with a strongfoundation in AI/ML principles.
• 7-9 years of experiencein data science, software engineering, or a related technical field, includingat least 2 years in a technical leadership role overseeing AI/ML projects.
• Strong proficiency inmodern programming languages, particularly Python, with demonstrableexperience using libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or c.
• Proven experience withcloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Demonstrated excellencein problem-solving, communication, and teamwork, with the ability to thrive ina collaborative, cross-functional team environment as evidenced bysuccessful completion of complex AI/ML projects.
• Experience with Agiledevelopment methodologies and project management tools such as Jira.
• Strong understanding ofAI/ML concepts and techniques, including Generative AI models and theirapplications, with the ability to articulate the strengths and weaknessesof different approaches.
