Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Indian Cook to join our culinary team in Germany. The ideal candidate must have a formal culinary qualification, over 6 years of professional experience in reputable 3-star or higher-rated hotels, and fluency in English and/or Hindi. This is a unique opportunity for hospitality professionals from India to work in Germany with excellent compensation, accommodation, and long-term benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian recipes
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and taste meet high international standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and food preparation areas in compliance with German food safety laws
- Plan and manage kitchen inventory, stock, and order ingredients as required
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, if needed
- Collaborate with the restaurant or hotel management to develop menus and special items
- Work effectively under pressure and ensure timely service
- Maintain documentation of recipes, daily reports, and hygiene records
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Indian cuisine within 3-star hotels or above
- Fluent in English or Hindi
- Familiarity with international kitchen environments preferred
- Good leadership, time management, and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of German is a plus (not mandatory)
- Physically fit and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
