About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security and Network Team Lead to oversee our IT security and network operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of professionals focused on safeguarding our network infrastructure, ensuring compliance, and enhancing our security posture. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both network management and information security, with leadership experience and a hands -on approach.Key Responsibilities - Security Design & Implementation Develop and implement security protocols, systems, and strategies to safeguard the company's data and infrastructure.- Team Leadership Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and cybersecurity professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.- Network Infrastructure Management Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of network resources.- Network & System Security Monitor, analyze, and secure network traffic, servers, applications, and endpoints to prevent unauthorized access, malware, and data breaches.- Information Security Management Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization. Ensure protection of digital assets from unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and threats.- Incident Response Lead the team in responding to network and security incidents. Coordinate forensic investigations, document incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.- Compliance and Risk Management Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.). Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to proactively address potential risks.- Policy Development and Implementation Develop and update network and security policies, standards, and guidelines. Ensure team adherence to these policies and create awareness programs for employees.- Vendor Management Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for network and security solutions. Evaluate and select products and services that align with organizational needs.- Project Management Plan and execute network and security projects, including infrastructure upgrades, security improvements, and risk mitigation initiatives. Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.- Network and Security Monitoring Implement and oversee monitoring tools and processes for real -time network and security monitoring. Ensure proactive identification and resolution of potential issues.- Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate and up -to -date documentation of network configurations, security policies, incident reports, and project statuses. Provide regular reports to senior management on network and security health.Required Qualifications :- Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.- Certifications Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are highly desirable.Skills & Experience - Experience 6+ years of experience in network engineering and information security, with at least 2years in a management role.Technical Skills - Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and network security best practices.- Network Management Proficiency in managing complex network environments with hands -on experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.- Security Expertise In -depth knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance.- Tools and Technologies Experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, endpoint protection, and network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Splunk, Cisco, Fortinet).- Cloud Security Familiarity with securing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and implementing cloud -specific security controls.- Compliance Knowledge Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI -DSS, and GDPR.Soft Skills - Excellent leadership and team -building skills, with a collaborative and results -oriented approach.- Strong problem -solving and decision -making abilities.- Exceptional communication skills for reporting and collaborating with cross -functional teams.- Effective project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications- Advanced Certifications Additional certifications such as CCIE Security, OSCP, or GSEC are a plus.- Automation & Scripting Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for security and network tasks.- Experience in Data Centre Security Knowledge of securing physical and network infrastructure within data centres.Apply
