Job Description

  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify trends, market opportunities, and potential clients or partners in the industry
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels, such as networking, cold calling, digital marketing, and attending industry events
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new relationships with prospective clients
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals, business plans, and pitches to potential clients or investors
  • Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, ensuring that they align with the company's goals and financial objectives
  • Revenue Growth: Set revenue targets, develop strategies to achieve them, and track progress toward sales and revenue goals
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align business development efforts with the overall company strategy
  • Market Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand into new markets or regions and create entry strategies
  • Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitors' activities and market trends to identify areas for improvement and innovation
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and track opportunities through the sales process, from lead generation to closing deals
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on key performance indicators, sales activities, and revenue forecasts
  • Team Leadership (for Manager and Senior Manager roles): If in a leadership role, provide guidance, training, and support to junior members of the business development team
  • Strategic Planning: Develop long-term strategies for business growth and expansion
