Job Description
- Help in/defining the overall Data Warehouse architecture and Implementation.
- Own Data modelling and Data Dictionary and drive data architect functions across organization. Ability to capture data dictionary and review Data code and guide development team in efficiency.
- Assist in procuring Data governance tool and establishing business glossary, technical metadata and establishing data quality rules preferably Azure Purview or Information CDGC.
- Laying down data architecture functions, defining policies and data structure, partnership with Application team in understanding, requirements and assisting them in data modeling and data development.
- Ability to run business initiative project independently and collaborate closely with business analysts, architects and stake holders to create technical specification.
- Review requirements and drive technical team discussions.
- bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience required in Computer Science or Related Field
- Minimum 10+ years experience in handling Azure Cloud databases and 3+ years of experience in handling large volume enterprise scale applications.
- Good amount of experience with Microsoft Data architecture and related sources.
- Exposure to working Azure Synapse/Data Fabric
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing large scale distributed architecture of OLTP and BI systems.
- Advance experience and knowledge in Azure services including Azure SQL databases, Azure analysis services, Synapses Analytical and ETL/ELT tools like SSIS, Azure data factory, Data Pipelines.
- Experience using Azure DevOps and CI/CD as we'lls agile tools and process including GIT etc
- Data Governance execution and operationalize experience like quality CDQ rules, data standardized, data profiling.
- Possess Master Data Management skills (MDM) and strong knowledge in SQL Server, MySQL and cloud databases.
- Experience in Data Modelling Tools
- Exposure in handling sensitive information for Banking/Healthcare industry is desired but not mandatory.
- Experience in working on any other cloud like GCP/AWS is desired but not mandatory.
