Cloud Engineer - DevOPs Automation @ IT Services

Job Description

Key Skills: Azure, Devops, Terraform

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Bicep.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and maintenance tasks using DevOps practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, etc.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure design, automation scripts, and operational procedures.
• Follow security and compliance best practices in cloud deployments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Hands-on expertise in Terraform and/or Bicep for IaC.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Experience with ARM templates (optional but good to have).
• Solid understanding of Azure networking, security, compute, storage, and identity services.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, AKS) is a plus.
• Good understanding of DevOps best practices, Agile methodologies, and Git-based workflows.
• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305) are a strong plus.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of cost optimization and Azure governance.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with security tools and policies in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools in Azure (App Insights, Log Analytics, etc.).

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
