Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Architect who can lead the design and implementation of scalable and high-performing technology solutions. This role is ideal for experienced Senior Software Engineers or Lead Developers who are already involved in solutioning or architectural decision-making and are ready to take the next step into a full-time architecture role.
You'll be instrumental in driving technical direction, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and aligning technology choices with business needs.
What Youll Do
Solution Architecture
- Design and document scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions based on business requirements.
- Create high-level architecture diagrams, data flows, and system blueprints.
- Contribute to defining technical standards and architectural best practices.
Technology Evaluation & Strategy
- Research and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools aligned with project goals.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and apply relevant innovations to current systems.
Hands-On Guidance & Oversight
- Guide development teams during implementation to ensure adherence to design.
- Participate in code and design reviews; resolve technical challenges proactively.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to define timelines and technical deliverables.
Stakeholder Communication
- Work closely with product managers, clients, and business teams to understand requirements.
- Present solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Quality & Performance
- Monitor system performance and suggest improvements or redesigns as needed.
- Support modernization efforts for legacy platforms and systems.
Documentation & Governance
- Maintain detailed documentation of architecture, design decisions, and configurations.
- Support compliance with security and quality standards.
What Were Looking For
- 610 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Experience in designing and implementing technical solutions, even if not formally titled Architect.
- Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with architectural principles (e.g., microservices, layered architecture, etc.).
- Comfortable with tools like architecture diagrams, modeling tools, and documentation platforms.
- Solid communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
