Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Tendering & Costing Specialist with hands-on experience in ITMS (Intelligent Traffic Management Systems). The candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering process, developing accurate cost estimates, and coordinating across teams to ensure timely and compliant bid submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze RFPs/RFQs, technical specifications, and client requirements.
- Prepare and submit detailed technical and commercial proposals.
- Develop accurate cost estimates for projects including material, manpower, and equipment.
- Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, legal) for bid inputs.
- Track tender status, maintain documentation, and respond to clarifications.
- Work on post-tender evaluations and assist in pricing negotiations when needed.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in tendering and costing, preferably for infrastructure or smart city projects.
- In-depth knowledge of ITMS (Intelligent Traffic Management Systems).
- Proficiency in cost estimation tools and advanced Excel functions.
- Excellent understanding of technical documentation, commercial terms, and contract compliance.
- Strong coordination and communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost and technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field.
- Experience with government or large-scale public infrastructure tenders is a plus.
