What we are looking for: We are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience deploying both frontend and backend applications using Azure Pipelines (YAML). The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure smooth and reliable deployment across Microsofts Ring-based environments. The ideal candidate has a strong DevOps mindset, with the ability to manage and automate deployments, handle basic issue triaging, and occasionally assist in infrastructure setup using playbooks.

Relevant Years of experience: 5+ Years
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML, supporting multiple application types and deployment targets.
- Manage Azure DevOps infrastructure components including:
- Agent Pools
- Git Repos and branching strategies
- Azure Boards for issue and task tracking
- Execute and support deployments across Microsoft Ring environments, ensuring progressive and controlled releases.
- Triage and resolve deployment-related issues in coordination with development and QA teams.
- Set up and configuring Azure Tenants and environments using automation playbooks (ARM, Terraform, or Ansible).
- Document CI/CD processes, deployment standards, and operational runbooks.
Required Skills:
- Total experience of 8+ years with at least 5 years in Azure DevOps and cloud-based deployment pipelines, environments
- Deep expertise in:
- YAML-based Azure Pipelines
- Agent Pool management
- Repo & Branching strategies
- Azure Boards
- Strong understanding of Azure Cloud services, specifically:
- Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity and access
- Compute resources (VMs, App Services, Functions)
- Storage solutions (Blob, File Shares)
- Observability tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights)
- Experience deploying and maintaining both frontend (React, Angular, etc.) and backend (.NET, Node.js, etc.) services
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible
- Familiarity with Ring-based or staged deployments and progressive release models
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
