Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer who is passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality in our software products. In this role, you will not only focus on manual testing but also take the lead in analyzing and improving testing processes to make them more efficient and effective.

If you have a knack for spotting gaps, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless user experiences , this role is for you. We want someone who is not just a tester but a problem solver who can proactively suggest improvements to our QA processes.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning: Create and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on business requirements.

Manual Testing: Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing to identify and report bugs effectively.

Process Improvement: Proactively analyze testing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and coverage.

Defect Management: Log, track, and manage defects using Jira or similar tools , ensuring clear communication with the development team.

Documentation: Maintain detailed and clear test documentation to ensure traceability and compliance.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality products.

Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for defects to help improve development and testing practices.

Requirements
What Were Looking For

u2714 Proven experience in manual testing for software applications.

u2714 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.

u2714 Experience with test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar.

u2714 Ability to identify process gaps and suggest improvements proactively.

u2714 Excellent communication skills to articulate issues clearly and effectively.

u2714 Familiarity with Agile methodologies and requirement traceability is a plus. Benefits
