Accountant @ Opendoor

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills

Were seeking an exceptional Accountant to join our Accounting Finance team. This role will be a significant contributor to the accounting and reconciliation of our Treasury, Debt, and Adjacent Services operations.

• Prepare journal entries for our Treasury, Debt, and Adjacent Services operations in NetSuite
• Reconcile property settlement statements to cash paid or received
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with title agencies
• Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules and fluctuation analyses
• Prepare journal entries for cash transactions and reconcile cash to bank statements
• Assist with Opendoor's financial statement preparation and financial statement audit
• Identify and implement process improvements through automation to support the companys growing business operations

• Real estate accounting experience
• NetSuite or other ERP experience
• Licensed CPA or CPA candidate
• Basic understanding of SQL
