Position Overview:
Join our LogiFORCE squad as a Functional Business Analyst! If logistics and freight forwarding get your gears turning, we need your expertise to bridge the gap between business challenges and tech solutions. Dive in, decode business needs, and design game-changing software that drives efficiency and wows our clients!
What youll be doing
1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with clients, internal teams to capture detailed business, functional requirements.
Analyze current business processes, identifying gaps and recommending opportunities for improvement in freight forwarding and shipment management.
Partner with product managers and developers to define, prioritize, refine product features.
Propose and support the implementation of process automation and system enhancements based on industry trends and customer feedback.
2. Logistics Domain Expertise and EDI Flow:
Provide subject matter expertise in logistics, including import/export documentation, customs regulations, compliance and freight forwarding processes.
Ensure product features comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements in logistics, customs and freight forwarding.
Leverage basic knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) to streamline data flow, improving process efficiency and accuracy.
3. Technology and Process Innovation:
Research/recommend new technologies, strategies, practices to drive operational efficiency and enhance software capabilities.
Monitor/oversee the implementation of new systems and technologies to ensure they align with business goals, compliance and contractual standards.
Track and manage project lifecycles from design to implementation, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
4. Customer Communication and Stakeholder Collaboration:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, addressing concerns or questions related to the project scope, timelines, and functionality.
Facilitate clear communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on objectives and expectations.
Proactively identify potential project issues early and propose effective solutions to meet both customer and business needs.
Who were looking for
1. 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or related domains.
2. Hands-on experience with business analysis, requirement gathering, and process automation in logistics.
3. Knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) workflows and related technologies.
4. Knowledge of industry-specific standards like IATA, FIATA, or C-TPAT (advantageous).
5. Strong customer focus and problem-solving abilities.
6. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
