Job Description
- Developsoftware solutions by reviewing requirements analysis and information needswith Business Information System managers and Business Analysts
- Design solutions using softwaredevelopment fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy softwaresolutions
- Architect, design, develop,implement and provide maintenance within SharePoint and Office 365 applications
- Migrate content into SharePointOnline sites with migration tools or manual procedures
- Perform testing of SharePointOnline sites or components as developed by the development team
- Technical Document Writing, userguides, and training material development for various aspects of the SharePointadministration
- Participate in integration andmigration (write scripts) of content from various platforms into SharePoint
- Responsible for customizing anddeveloping SharePoint components, including but not limited to, Web Parts,Discussion Boards, User Interface Design, Forms, and Lists
- Design custom applications toautomate or simplify tasks
What do you need to succeed?
In this role, you will berequired to design, code, test, and analyze software programs and applicationsin a SharePoint environment. This includes researching, designing, documenting,and modifying software specifications throughout the production life-cycle
- Design and develop SharePoint andOffice 365 solution implementation projects
- Develop and test solutioncomponents and leverage CI/CD best practices
- Provide technical expertise andadvise team members on industry best practices
- Maintain current on emergingMicrosoft and cloud technologies to better advise clients and peers on upcomingfeatures and how to best prepare for them
- Help troubleshoot technicalissues and resolve issues using a methodical diagnosis
- Design high-level solutiondesigns and accompanying estimates for proposals
- Occasionally prepare and presentonline webinars on relevant topics
Required skills:
- Bacheloru2019s degree with 10+ yearsof experience in development
- Expert in .NET platform (C#,Asp.Net).
- JavaScript, web services, customworkflows
- Microsoft SharePointcertification such as MOSS and WSS(Optional)
- On-Premises SharePoint (2016 or2019) and SharePoint Online experience is a must
- Experience migrating fromSharePoint On-Premises to SharePoint Online using commercially-availablemigration tools and SPMT
- On-Premises SharePoint Workflowand Power Automate experience
- Developing SharePoint Web Partsusing SPFx
- Excellent knowledge ofTypeScript, npm, gulp, JSON, RESTful services
- Mastery of JavaScript
- Experience working with sourcecontrol solutions (Git, TFS, etc..)
- Experience with Azuretechnologies
- Experience with Power Apps
- SharePoint deployment andconfiguration
- Experience in SQL Server &relational database design
- Experience migrating data fromother content management systems to SharePoint
- Attention to detail and theability to function in a dynamic and demanding work environment with commitmentto high quality/error free deliverables
- Strong work-ethic,self-motivated, focused, creative, enthusiastic
- Works well in a team andindependently
- Ability to analyze businessrequirements and propose solutions
- Ability to work with users whilemanaging expectations and requirements.
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to troubleshoot and researchchallenging technical issues
- Experience in an agileenvironment
- Demonstrate the ability to solveproblems and learn new technologies quickly
