Job Description:
Understanding functionally complex suite of financial products.
Eliciting requirements for performance testing / performance benchmarking and translating them to workload model.
Creating Test Environments & setting up test beds.
Implementation of workload models in Test suites.
Creation/ updation/ debugging of performance test scripts for the product suite for which development is under progress.
Test suite executions and monitoring.
Compiling of results and monitoring data from various sources and analysis thereof.
Executive summary and report creation in the format desired by the stakeholders.
Result presentation to the stake holders and answering queries thereof.
Learn new performance testing tools by exploration; train team on same.
In light of everyday changing requirements suggest improvements to existing test procedures/ practices/ processes. Get improvements approved and implement them into daily practise.
Keep finding new ways to keep the team environment lively and cheerful despite all the workload.
Working knowledge of extracting Application server CPU utilization, Heap utilization etc.
Must Have Skills:
Ability to take the allocated task to conclusion within available timelines and resources.
Very comfortable with basics of programming in
- java / beanshell / groovy/
- Shell / powershell
- sql / plsql
- Spread sheet macros
An adept problem solver having solution oriented approach with ability to briskly move to another probable solution of the problem at hand if one fails.
Out of the box thinker having resourcefulness and ability to look for solutions in most improbable of the places.
Immaculate reporting skills - verbal and written.
Jmeter / Rational Performance Tester
Great listening and documenting skills

Load runner / Neo Load / Silk Performer
Dynatrace, AppDynamics, SiteScope
Experience working in an Agile/ Scrum development process
Experience how having worked in environments with CI
