Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Sr Engineer is responsible for ensuring efficient coordination and execution of process improvement initiatives, technical documentation, departmental meetings, ESG and BRSR compliance, and maintenance activities across the solvent, expeller, and boiler departments. The role involves liaising with management, consultants, and vendors to optimize processes, improve equipment efficiency, and maintain high standards in sustainability and 5S compliance
Special equipment knowledge:
Pump, Gear Box, Compressor, Chiller, Nitrogen Plant, Rotator.
Scheduling and Documentation
- Schedule departmental meetings and prepare accurate Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
- Ensure timely circulation and follow-up of MOM to relevant stakeholders.
5S Implementation
- Act as the 5S Head Coordinator to ensure successful implementation across departments.
- Organize audits and ensure compliance with 5S requirements.
ESG and BRSR Compliance
- Coordinate ESG audits, gap assessments, and data collection activities.
- Prepare and submit the BRSR (SEBI Requirement) Report within stipulated timelines.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Level of Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Certifications in 5S, ESG compliance, or related areas are a plus.
Experience
5 + Year Experience in process development
UNIQUE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
(Special technical skills & knowledge needed for the satisfactory performance of the job)
- . Strong coordination and organizational skills.
- Excellent documentation and reporting capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of maintenance practices and process optimization.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
