Job Description

EUC support Engineer supporting Pune location 5 days in a week on site
Essential functions of the EUC Engineer.
  • Assist with all end user computing security activities
  • Troubleshooting End User issues and supporting customers across all India sites.
  • Technical site lead and point of contact for all escalation while providing technical support to India sites as and when required.
  • Manage the IT needs of the end user environment on site, including laptops, MacBooks, back-office servers, Desk and softphone telephony
  • Build excellent working relations with your internal VIP customers, acting as an ambassador for End User Computing Services and IT
  • Responsible for new starters and leavers (hardware and software)
  • Replacements and upgrades of users equipment (Mobile Laptop)
  • Printer management including software installs and hardware troubleshooting
  • User account management, including active directory and group membership
  • Optimise the support arrangements with existing and new service providers to ensure the technology support continues to meet business needs.
  • Mentoring junior and intermediate staff
  • Apple Macbook support
  • Ordering IT equipment from 3rd party vendors
  • Responsible for keeping Asset management up to date and accurate.
  • Creating documentation for End users and other members of the team for all processes that we manage.
  • Liaise with external/3rd party providers for services and products
  • Adhere to and uphold defined security standards by proactively vulnerability scans and follow aspects of security
  • Building of laptops with SCCM build system and Jamf
  • Support meetings, office townhall and other events.
What you ll do
  • Contribute with Technical Support to walk up customers at a TechBar.
  • Level 2 support of conference room technology (Audio/Visual kits).
  • Deliver new equipment (laptops accessories) within agreed service levels.
  • Proactively identify and complete projects that add value to the department and/or our customers.
  • Point of contact for 3rd party Technology and Facilities vendor/partners (HP, Dell, Xerox, etc)
What experience you need
  • 2-4 years of experience collaborating with team members to resolve local user issues and sitewide incidents
  • Associates degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Experience analyzing, troubleshooting , and resolving hardware/software and Audio/Visual systems issues. Including provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of End User Technology hardware, OS and software.
  • Demonstrates the potential to mentor junior team members
  • Cloud Certification Strongly Preferred
What could set you apart
  • Self-starter that identifies/responds to priority shifts with minimal supervision
  • 1-2 years experience with performing a role within an IT environment
  • 1-2 years experience with Active Directory
  • 1-2 years of experience with administering Windows Server Environments
  • 1-2 years of experience with desktop support for end users (Windows 10/11)
  • 1-2 years exposure to G Suite
  • 1-2 years of mobility device and MDM experience
  • 1-2 years of enterprise wireless support (Cisco, Aruba) ; both would be a plus
  • 1-3 years experience of multiple varied technology in a support related role
  • 1-4 years customer facing experience in a support related capacity
  • Evidence of desktop and net
  • Working support roles
  • Lead delivery of new technology projects by acting as a pilot and delivering support
  • models that ensure that technology tools meet business needs.
  • Essential understanding of WAN/LAN/DNS/Windows/Remote access/security technologies Support of other UKI sites may be required
  • Experience in using SCCM remote support tools
  • Experience in working on ticketing tools like ServiceNow
  • Hands on experience with hardware part replacements
  • Should be having a basic knowledge in networking tools
