My client a UK FTSE 100 company is looking for an IT professional to join their team in India. Their customers include some of the best-known brands across the world in the UK, US and Australia.

The ideal candidate must have previously worked in UK and be willing to travel to UK for short visits at their head offices in London.

The role

Key Responsibilities will include:

You will be accountable for the day to day maintenance of a globally distributed server infrastructure (Physical & Cloud-based).
Development of strategies to maintain and enhance platform availability, operational efficiency and security posture.
Architecture and deployment of new infrastructure to support business needs.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code.
Research, evaluate and implement innovative technologies.
Key Skills:

Must have previously worked in UK
Excellent communication skills
Excellent written and oral English language
Experience with Linux
Experience of web architecture.
Experience in one or more scripting languages
Disciplined working practices.
Desirables:

Experience with any RDBMS solutions (MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle/ MS Access)
On a personal level, you will be a great team player with well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
