Automation QA Lead @ Puresoftware

Job Description

• Engineer and construct automation scripts utilizing open-source tools such as Selenium.
• Customize Selenium for diverse integrations.
• Create Custom Test Automation Framework and Documentation Library
• Work in tandem with QA analysts and software developers to devise effective strategies and test plans.
• Implement and evaluate test cases, both manual and automated.
• Document testing stages and defects through comprehensive logs.
• Communicate bugs and errors to the development teams.
• Provide assistance in diagnosing and resolving issues.
• Help evaluate other Test Automation tools to be integrated in the Test Automation Framework setup.

• A minimum of 5 years experience in automation testing. Or (4-5 Yrs if candidate is really good and ready to put efforts ). This is a lead role, so we need one who has good hands-on experience and excellent lead capabilities
• Proficiency in developing and implementing Selenium and Cucumber (good Knowledge) -based Automation Frameworks with Java .
• Experience with Jira Xray for test management configuration.
• Expertise in utilizing Jira.
• Ability to articulate clear, concise, and thorough test plans and cases.
• Practical experience withautomated testing tools, including but not limited to Selenium.
• Robust programming capabilities in Java ( very good in Java- Can reuse the code).
• Acquaintance with Agile practices and the SDLC.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent Lead capabilities
• Knowledge of REST API (with Rest Assured Automation)
• Understand test plan, can automate it, the one who has good exposure of agile Practices

• Experience of AS400
• Insight into continuous testing and integration within DevOps (Jenkins) pipelines.
