Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager - Accounts will be responsible for assisting in financial reporting, taxation, and day-to-day accounting operations of company. The role requires expertise in accounting principles, GST, TDS, inventory accounting, and compliance with statutory regulations .
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:
l Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
l Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
l Handle bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and journal entries.
2. Taxation & Compliance:
l Manage GST filings, returns, and reconciliations .
l Ensure timely deduction & deposit of TDS/TCS and filing returns.
l Handle income tax-related compliance (including tax audits if applicable).
l Liaise with auditors (internal/external) for statutory and tax audits.
3. Audit & Internal Controls:
l Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and SOPs.
l Support in stock audits, statutory audits, and GST audits.
l Implement best practices in accounting processes.
4. Vendor & Payables Management:
l Verify vendor bills, process payments, and maintain vendor ledgers.
l Negotiate with suppliers for better payment terms where applicable.
5. Banking & Cash Flow Management:
l Monitor cash flow and ensure liquidity for smooth operations.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in ERP / Tally ERP 9/SAP.
Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and Accounting Standards.
Advanced Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, Formulas).
Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, teamwork.
