Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Node.js Developer to join our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable and high-performance server-side applications using Node.js.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript is a plus.
- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
- Sound understanding of RESTful API and/or GraphQL API design.
- Proficiency with databases both SQL such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and NoSQL such as MongoDB, Redis.
- Experience working with authentication & authorization such as JWT, OAuth2.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD tools, and version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
- Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Familiarity with WebSockets, event-driven architecture such as Kafka, RabbitMQ.
- Exposure to DevOps tools and Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Unit testing experience with Jest, Mocha, or similar frameworks.
- Contribution to open-source or personal projects on GitHub is a plus.
