Job Description
- Install/maintain Linux servers like RHEL, Ubuntu, Fedora, and Kali Linux and system packages and administer all server performance to ensure availability for the same.
- Installation, set up, configuration, and maintenance of backup scripts to automate the processes, Apache Web Servers, Iptables, and Database Servers.
- Understanding Linux Partition.
- Configuration and maintenance of the Nagios monitoring system.
- Maintain all system backup and assist to restore all procedures and provide required training to other team members if required.
- Design and maintain all system tools for all scripts and automation processes and monitor all capacity planning.
- Installation of Nginx and configuration and detail understating.
- Integrate all required packages and resolve all issues across various technologies and design require enterprise servers and provide backup support.
- Prepare for new product-related releases and assists the Development team with new initiatives and upgrades.
- Installation of SSL certificates to secure the web portals.
- Assist to configure and deploy all virtual machines and install and provide backup to all configuration procedures.
- Maintain and monitor all patch releases and design various patch installation strategies and maintain all systems accordingly.
- Administer all performance for various resources and ensure optimization for same and provide support to all applications and ensure an optimal level of customer service.
- Perform troubleshooting on all tools and maintain multiple servers and provide backup for all files and script management servers.
- Perform tests on all new software and maintain patches for management services and perform audits on all security processes which may further include backups and restoration.
- Work with our product development team to implement and support infrastructural changes.
- Respond to alerts issued by our monitoring system.
- Work to maintain the utmost secure environment in terms of permissions, access, and authorization.
- Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service.
- Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs.
- Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
