 Learning & Development Specialist

Job Description

  • Create, organize, plan, and present various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees. Manage and deliver semi-monthly new hire orientation culture cruise to all India-based new employees.
  • Customize / Deliver trainings to support our WebPTs Transformational Leadership Academy
  • Go through DDIs certification process to be permitted to facilitate their training courses.
  • Administer DDI portal for company-wide transformational leadership academy content - adding all new hires, assigning learning paths as requested by managers for their employees, troubleshooting and answering employee questions.
  • Conduct training needs analysis. Develop training recommendations and coordinate training support for team members/teams.
  • Construct and communicate all training documentation, including training agenda, training, training recaps, Help Desk tickets, and other training communication.
  • Present training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, virtual, and videos.
  • Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
  • Administrate and ensure compliance and engagement of Learning Management System.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
What You Should Have to Qualify
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in LD or corporate training.
  • BBM with HR certification OR Masters Degree in HR or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with facilitation methodologies.
  • LMS administration experience is a plus.
  • Flexibility, Innovation and Experience supporting HR, Learning and Development in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid organization and prioritization skills including proven attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to establish ownership and drive assigned initiatives through to completion on time; meeting or exceeding expectations.
  • Experience as a skilled facilitator, consistently demonstrating effective questioning techniques and ability to engage students and transfer knowledge.
  • Mature classroom management skills; able to effectively control classroom/virtual classroom to foster a safe learning environment.
  • Highly effective oral and written communications skills, with ability to develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders in order to achieve results.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, self-starter and demonstrates initiative.
Ideally, You Would Also Have These
  • Experience working in a US-based GCC in the US Healthcare industry or a SaaS Technology company is an advantage.
  • HR certification is preferred but not required
