Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer (Experience/Community Cloud)

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid 2 to 11)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with proven expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud) to contribute to a complex, enterprise-grade implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding solution architecture, designing and extending community portals, and building scalable, component-based solutions. The role requires proficiency in Git-based development workflows and Salesforce DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Solution Architects to understand business requirements and contribute to technical design, with a focus on Experience Cloud implementations.
• Design, develop, and enhance Experience Cloud (Community) portals using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and Salesforce CMS.
• Customize and extend existing Salesforce components and solutions to fit evolving user and business needs.
• Implement and maintain DevOps pipelines using tools such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Utilize Git for source control and follow structured branching and merging strategies.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high standards in performance, security, and scalability.
• Work closely with QA, product owners, and business analysts to support testing and rollout activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across sandboxes and production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including hands-on development in Experience Cloud (Community Cloud) mandatory.
• Strong skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Solid experience in designing and building public and partner community portals with custom branding, navigation, and secure access.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, limits, data security, and performance optimization.
• Proficient with Git for version control and familiar with GitFlow or similar branching models.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools specific to Salesforce environments.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (mandatory); Platform Developer II or Experience Cloud certification (preferred).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Prior work in enterprise-scale community deployments (retail, consumer services, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Exposure to integrations between Experience Cloud and third-party systems.
