Position: Proposal Engineer

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat, India

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Proposal Engineer to develop detailed engineering proposals, including L1 schedules and man-hour estimates, for greenfield and brownfield projects across the upstream, midstream, downstream oil & gas, chemical, and modular plant sectors. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing complete and comprehensive proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed and complete proposals.
• Manage all stages of the proposal process, from RFP receipt to final submission.
• Understand and incorporate discipline-wise engineering deliverables across project phases.
• Independently prepare proposals, including technical content, cost estimation coordination, and schedule development.
• Collaborate effectively with internal technical teams and key stakeholders to ensure proposal success.
• Prepare and maintain a query list, and coordinate clarifications with the client.
• Work closely with the Business Development (BD) team to review and obtain approval for proposals.

Skills and Expertise:

• 34 years of relevant experience in proposal development within Oil & Gas, chemical, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of the complete proposal development lifecycle.
• In-depth knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering deliverables across various project stages.
• Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end proposal development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interdisciplinary coordination abilities.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a proposal and estimation role is desirable.
• A proactive learning attitude is essential.
• Familiarity with the use of GEN AI tools is preferred.

Qualification:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
