Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Auditor with experience in Stock and Inventory Audits to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting audits at client sites, verifying physical stock, ensuring inventory accuracy, and preparing audit reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical stock/inventory audits at client locations.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Identify discrepancies, variances, and report findings to the senior audit team.
- Ensure compliance with company and client inventory procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date audit documentation and reports.
- Coordinate with client representatives during audits.
- Travel to client sites across Mumbai and nearby areas (as required).
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
- 23 years of relevant experience in inventory or stock audits.
- Good knowledge of audit processes and inventory management.
- Proficient in MS Excel and basic accounting software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel locally for audits.
