Position: Deputy Manager Accounts & Finance
Location: Kurla, Mumbai
Experience: 5+ Years
Compensation: Up to 6.50 LPA
Oversee and manage all accounting functions related to income, expenses, MIS reporting, and financial analysis.
Supervise end-to-end vendor management, including payments, contract handling, and performance evaluation.
Monitor all tax-related matters and coordinate with tax consultants for assessments, filings, and appeals.
Conduct statutory, tax, and internal audits in line with the audit schedule; address queries and ensure timely corrective measures.
Manage the month-end and year-end closing of accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
Prepare and analyze monthly MIS reports for senior management.
Track and evaluate budget vs. actual expenses; highlight and investigate variances.
Report on working capital position and fund flow at regular intervals.
Draft and review financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
Administer payroll across group entities, if required.
Oversee insurance matters for the Trust and its subsidiary companies.
Lead, train, and supervise a team of Finance & Accounts professionals.
Support the Finance Manager in various accounting and finance-related functions.
Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting. (CA Inter or MBA in Finance preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
Proficiency in Zoho Books is essential.
In-depth understanding of financial regulations and statutory compliance.
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
