Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Consultant with 5 to 12 years of experience to join our Tax Technology practice in Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and information technology.### Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist project teams in estimating architecture design effort and developing/ reviewing/ approving architecture designs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to program/project teams in the plan, design, and delivery of technical solutions.
  • Lead the solution design and development of tax tools and technology solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with senior IT leaders on program strategies and plans, negotiating quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for tax technology projects.### Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, MBA, or MCA.
  • 5-12 years of overall experience in Sap Global Trade Services (GTS).
  • Experience in SAP GTS Customs management, including export and import processes, inward process, transit/presentation, bonded warehouse, electronic filing, and product classification.
  • Hands-on experience with configuration settings in feeder systems like ECC/S4, including document types and master data.
  • Strong understanding of business requirements and ability to design feasible technical solutions that address current needs without impacting future upgrades.
  • Experience with technology tools such as SAP GTS Compliance Management, Sanction party list screening, Embargo, Product Classification, and Legal control (Export, Import).
