Job Description
Fractional CTO.
Key Responsibilities :-
1. Strategic Planning and Vision.
- Developing and implementing technology strategy - Create a roadmap for technology adoption and application, aligning it with the company's business objectives.
- Identifying emerging technologies - Stay abreast of the latest Microsoft and other technological advancements and assess their potential impact on the business.
- Defining technology standards - Establish guidelines and policies to ensure consistency and compatibility across systems.
- Architecture Oversight - Provide guidance on system modernization, cloud transformation and enterprise architecture.
2. Technology Infrastructure and Operations.
- Managing IT operations - Manage IT infrastructure, hosting environment and architecture/configuration, ensuring system reliability, security, and proper functioning.
- Budget management - Responsible for managing technology budgets and resource allocation.
- Vendor and partner relations - Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners.
3. Innovation and Business Alignment.
- Driving innovation - Foster a culture of innovation within the company, encouraging the development of new technologies and solutions.
- Aligning technology with business goals - Ensure that technology investments and initiatives are aligned with the company's overall strategic objectives.
- Communicating technology strategies - Communicate technology plans and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Skills :-
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior technology leadership role.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in software development, systems architecture, and IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies.
- Strong experience in Microsoft technologies including Windows, Hyper-V, Azure, .NET Core, SQL Server.
- Track record of leading technology teams and delivering successful projects.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with cloud computing, DevOps, and cybersecurity is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
