Software Developer - Ruby on Rails - Lucknow @ Akaruilabs India

Job Description

We are looking for full-stack developers with experience in developing and managing applications written on the Ruby on Rails stack

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
Integration of data storage solutions such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
Writing Web applications hosted on Heroku, AWS
Understand front-end and UI concepts and implement front-end logic with latest Javascript standards
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality and organization

Requirements

BE/BTech/MCA or ME/MTech in Computer Science or related technical discipline with 1 ? 3 yrs of development experience.
Experience with Ruby on Rails
Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
Good experience with Javascript
Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Experience with front-end technologies such as ReactJS, AngularJS or BackboneJS is a huge plus
Experience with other development languages/frameworks such as NodeJS/ExpressJS or Java is a plus
Working experience with DBMS such as MySQL, MongoDB
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
Familiarity with concepts of MVC, RESTful
Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
